Project Manager / Project planner
Location: St. Louis, MO (potential for remote work)
Experience Level: Entry-Level or Mid-Level (depending on qualifications)
Job Type: Full-time (potential for Part-time leading to Full-time)
PGAV Planners is seeking a creative Project Planner or Project Manager to join our team! The successful candidate will work with our team to help facilitate real estate and community development projects through the application of their real estate development and financial analysis expertise.
The candidate can expect to work on analyzing real estate development projects throughout the United States by writing reports related to feasibility, market, development finance and tax revenue analyses. The selected candidate will be well-organized and detail-oriented. With guidance from other team members, the candidate will be comfortable progressing tasks independently and requesting assistance when needed. The candidate will also represent themselves and the firm respectfully and professionally during client interactions, public presentations, and business development efforts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Project Manager:
Graduate degree in Economics, Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Finance, Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field and two to three years of relevant professional experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Urban Planning, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus three to five years of related experience.
Project Planner:
Graduate degree in Economics, Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Finance, Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field.
- or -
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Urban Planning, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus two to four years of relevant professional experience.
SKILLS
The successful candidate will bring the following skills to PGAV Planners:
Knowledge of real estate development, community development, and economic development principles.
Knowledge of the fundamentals of real estate finance.
Strategic, hard-working, and creative.
Ability to read, understand, and communicate insights from demographic data and data on multiple real estate markets.
Strong writing and communications skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Knowledge of zoning and urban planning principles.
